Testimonials

Ms. Jean,

I am thrilled to report that I have just finished reading Lessons Learned as a Bridesmaid! (FINALLY–YAY!!)

I must admit that I have read some of the other literature supposedly designed for the single lady & relationships (i.e. The Rules, He’s Just Not That Into You, and Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus to name a few) but none touched my heart quite like yours did nor did any explain how God wants expects to “wait” (as a waiter—in service to His cause) while we “wait” (patiently, contently, and gracefully) upon His timing.

Your book also clearly explained how the Father expects us to behave as young women in Christ as we wait with confidence that He will fulfill our godly desire to become a wife. I consider this book to be an essential manual for the godly woman whose expectation is to one day become a wife and mother and I am passing it along to a friend or two whom I’m sure will want to hear the God-inspired, unadulterated Word of God, spoken so simply yet with such love and elegance on this timely, significant topic.

Congratulations again your publication! I LOVED it!

Pam James

Ms. Jean,

Thanks for the inspiring words of wisdom. Your book is confirmation that God has great plans for all of us and we must keep our focus on him. Your experiences shared are a mirror image of what many women experience in relationships. I can’t even count the number of weddings I’ve been in. I use to say, “Always a bridesmaid never a bride”. Your book has given me a more positive and spiritual outlook on marriage and meeting the person who God has just for me. Continue to minister and being a blessing to others.

God Bless,

I really enjoyed this book! I am a little old for some of the methods, but some of my nieces are fighting over the book! Thanks for keeping us informed, Ms. Jean!

Larissa,

WOW! What a powerful book. You have given young women everywhere the tools they need to overcome the urge to settle for a meaningless relationship instead of waiting for God to send that special someone designed just for them. The book is an easy read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Can’t wait to see what you’ll do next!

LaShandra Hawkins, Wife, Mother, Assistant Principal

After just picking up the book last night I have just about read the
entire thing already. It is very hard to put down! I feel like I have
such a connection with Larissa, as I am sure so many young women do.
Getting married in your mid-twenties is such a pressure that only a
young woman can understand. She really helps relieve the pressure and
sheds light on your worries that “God’s time IS perfect.” With light
hearted humor and touching stories how she has learned to wait, it is
a wonderful book that young women, girls, and even brides should read.
It will help you define yourself and look deeper into your godly life.

I just finished reading Larissa Dayana Jean’s new book. AMAZING! Everyone should get a copy of this book. Many years of pain, heartache, patience and surrender went into this great work and it will bless you. I am so proud of this woman of God. Abba is pleased. I love you.
